Botox® in Miami
Softer lines. Every expression kept.
Botox is a purified botulinum toxin type A that, in small doses, relaxes the specific facial muscles that fold the skin into lines when you frown, squint or raise your brows. At Naiva it is dosed to your own muscle pattern to soften expression lines and slow their deepening while leaving your face fully able to move.
10–20 minutes.
Small bumps fade within an hour.
Softening begins around day 3–5.
Typically 3–4 months.
Where you are

Over time, the lines between your brows, across your forehead and around your eyes can begin to linger even when your face is at rest.
These expression lines form from years of repeated movement (frowning, squinting and raising the brows) as collagen and elasticity gradually decline.
The goal is not to freeze your face. It is to soften the lines that make you look tired, tense or stressed while keeping your natural expression.
Where you want to be
Botox softens the lines that form from repeated facial movement, including frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet, by gently relaxing the underlying muscles.
At Naiva, treatment is tailored to the way your face naturally moves. Placement and dosing are customized to soften lines while preserving expression, balance and character.
We approach neurotoxins as thoughtful, personalized maintenance, adjusting your treatment over time as your face and goals evolve. The result is a smoother, more refreshed appearance that still looks completely like you.
What to expect
Your appointment is quick and thoughtfully personalized. After reviewing your goals, your clinician will assess how your facial muscles move and carefully map your treatment.
Injections take just a few minutes using a very fine needle, with most patients describing only a brief pinch rather than pain.
There is little to no downtime, and you can return to your day immediately. We recommend staying upright for four hours after treatment and avoiding rubbing the treated areas. Please skip strenuous exercise, saunas and facials for the rest of the day.
10–20 minutes. That includes assessment and mapping, with tiny injection points and no bandages.
Small bumps fade within an hour. A faint bruise is possible and covers easily; nothing visible changes yet while the product binds.
Softening begins around day 3–5. The full effect settles by about two weeks, which is when we invite you back for a brief check.
Typically 3–4 months. With continuity, intervals sometimes lengthen as the muscle habit weakens.
Who it tends to suit
- Adults who notice frown lines, forehead lines or crow's feet that linger after the expression ends
- People who want softer lines while keeping their full range of expression
- Anyone beginning to notice expression lines that linger at rest, or who wants to keep those lines from settling in
- Patients who value a consistent, scheduled approach over occasional heavy treatment
- Those with deep static lines at rest may need a biostimulator or filler alongside, discussed at your assessment
- Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, or with an active infection at the treatment site
Who performs it
Every new patient is assessed before any product is discussed: your muscle pattern, brow position, skin quality and what you want your face to keep doing. Doses and placement are recorded so that each follow-up builds on the last rather than starting again.
Because expression lines rarely travel alone, your clinician will also tell you honestly when a neurotoxin is not the right tool, for example when a line is etched from volume loss rather than muscle, and where it fits in your personalized treatment plan.

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →Does Botox hurt?
Most patients describe a brief pinch at each injection point, over within seconds. The needle is very fine and the volume injected is small. Ice or topical numbing is available if you are sensitive, and the injections themselves usually take only a few minutes once mapping is done.
How long does Botox last?
For most people the effect lasts about three to four months, with movement gradually returning rather than switching off. First-time patients sometimes see a slightly shorter duration; those on a steady schedule sometimes see it stretch. Metabolism, muscle strength and dose all play a part, which is why we track your response over time.
Will I look frozen or different?
Not when it is dosed to how your muscles actually move. The goal at Naiva is a face that still lifts, frowns and laughs, but stops holding the crease afterward. If the result reads as frozen, the dose was wrong, not the idea.
What's the difference between Botox and Dysport®?
Both are botulinum toxin type A products approved by the FDA for glabellar lines, and both work the same way. Dysport tends to take effect a day or so sooner and diffuses slightly more, which some clinicians prefer across broad areas like the forehead. Botox stays a little more contained, which can be useful around precise points. Units are not interchangeable between the two, and the right choice is made at your assessment based on your anatomy and history.
How much does Botox cost?
Cost depends on the number of units your treatment requires, which depends on the areas treated and the strength of your muscles rather than a flat fee per zone. Pricing is set at your assessment, and your clinician confirms the dose with you before anything is injected.
When will I see results?
The first softening usually appears around day three to five. The full effect settles at about two weeks, which is when we like to see you for a brief check and, if needed, a small adjustment.
How often should I get Botox?
Most patients return every three to four months, timed so the next treatment begins as movement starts to come back rather than after lines have fully re-formed. That rhythm is what allows lines at rest to soften gradually over the years.
Can I exercise or fly after treatment?
Skip vigorous exercise, saunas and lying face-down for the rest of the day, and stay upright for about four hours. Flying is fine. Normal activity, including makeup, can resume the following morning.
