Weight & Metabolic Care in Miami
A medical plan for weight, not a willpower test.
Weight care at Naiva starts with labs and a conversation about your goals. From there, a clinician builds a plan and adjusts it at every check-in.
Consultation and blood draw
Metabolic baseline before anything is prescribed
A plan built on your numbers
Regular check-ins with your clinician
Weight is more than effort

Appetite and fullness signals, insulin sensitivity, sleep, stress, hormones and some medications all influence how the body holds weight. When one of them shifts, the same effort stops producing the same result. That is a measurement question, not a character question.
A direct approach
Naiva's approach is direct: assess first, prescribe only what is indicated, measure, adjust. Labs come before any prescription. Nutrition and activity guidance fit the life you actually have. Where medication is appropriate, it is one tool inside the plan, never the whole plan. And weight care connects to the rest of your care, so hormones, labs and any aesthetic work are planned together.

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →Do I have to take medication?
No. Medication is one option a clinician may consider when the assessment supports it. Patients who are not candidates, or who would rather not use it, follow the same plan with nutrition, activity and regular check-ins as the main tools.
How does weight connect to hormones?
Closely. Changes in estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and cortisol can affect appetite, sleep and where the body stores fat. When symptoms suggest a hormone component, a hormone panel is added to your labs and your clinician plans both together.
Can I combine weight care with body contouring?
Yes, and many patients do once their weight is stable. Your clinician sequences the two in one plan so each supports the other.
