Comprehensive Blood Panel in Miami
Real numbers before you decide anything.
A comprehensive blood panel is a broad baseline of how your body is running, from one morning draw. Your clinician chooses the tests from your goals and history, then goes through every result with you.
A short morning draw; you may be asked to fast
Drawn here, processed by a national laboratory
Results usually within a week, then your review
Repeated at intervals your clinician sets
Where you are

You would like to know how you are actually doing. Maybe something has shifted, like energy or recovery. Maybe nothing has, and you want a clear starting point before you commit to a plan.
An annual check-up is a good habit. It is also usually brief, and the results often arrive as a list of flags with little explanation. This panel is about the conversation that comes with the numbers.
Where you want to be
A baseline you understand. Your clinician selects the tests at your wellness consultation, based on your goals, your history and any plan you are considering.
Then you go through every result together: what each test measures, where you sit within the range, and whether anything deserves a closer look. If your numbers are good, you leave knowing that, and it is a complete outcome. If something needs attention, the panel becomes the starting point for your personalized plan, or for a referral when that is the right next step.
Because the same tests can be repeated later, you can see how things change over time.
What to expect
Book a morning draw. We will tell you when you book whether to fast. When fasting is needed, it usually means nothing but water for about eight hours beforehand. Keep taking your usual medications unless your clinician says otherwise.
The draw takes a few minutes. You may feel a brief pinch, and a small bruise can appear at the site. If you tend to feel light-headed, you can lie back for the draw. Tell us if you take a blood thinner or have a bleeding condition.
Results usually come back within a week. Then you sit down with your clinician to go through them. You are welcome to a copy of your results as soon as they are in.
Who you'll see
Your blood is drawn here by Danielle or Rosie, our nurse practitioners, and processed by a national laboratory. The same clinicians go through your results with you, under Medical Director oversight

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →What does the panel include?
Your clinician chooses the tests with you, based on your goals, your history and any plan you are considering. If you would like something specific checked, ask at your consultation.
Do I need to fast?
Often, yes, and we will tell you when you book. When fasting is needed, have nothing but water for about eight hours beforehand and book a morning draw. Keep taking your usual medications unless your clinician tells you otherwise.
How soon will I get my results?
Results usually come back within a week. Once they are in, we book your review so you can go through them with your clinician. If anything needs attention sooner, a clinician will contact you directly.
Can I see my results before my review?
Yes. Your results are yours. Ask and we will send you a copy as soon as they are in. Many patients prefer to wait and go through them with their clinician, and that is your choice too.
How much does it cost, and do you take insurance?
The price depends on the tests your clinician selects, and it is confirmed with you before the draw. Naiva is cash-pay and does not bill insurance. Labs are drawn here and billed through our account with the laboratory.
What happens if something comes back out of range?
Your clinician explains what it means and what, if anything, to do. Sometimes that is a repeat test, sometimes a change to your plan, and sometimes a referral to a specialist. You will not be left with a flag and no explanation.
