Hormone Optimization in Miami
Energy, sleep and focus that match how you live.
Hormone optimization is the assessment and, when indicated, treatment of hormone levels that have drifted from where you function best. We see women and men, and every plan starts with your labs.

What shifts, and why it matters

It doesn't always happen at once, but you might notice these things over time. Sleep that doesn't feel restorative. Energy that fades by mid-afternoon. Concentration that takes more effort than it did. Sometimes that's a demanding season. Often it's hormonal, and hormones can be measured.
Testosterone, estrogen, progesterone and cortisol shape how you sleep, recover, think and carry weight. For women these levels shift through perimenopause and menopause; for men, testosterone declines gradually with age. Planning for those changes early is part of staying well, not a sign that something is wrong.
How we work
We measure first. Your clinician reads a hormone panel, one built for women and one for men, alongside your history and goals, then gives you a recommendation or a plain answer that you don't need treatment. When treatment fits, we start low and adjust against your labs, with repeat testing built into your personalized plan. The aim is a level that lets you feel like yourself, consistently, within a healthy range for you.

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →When is it worth checking my hormones?
When sleep, energy, focus or libido have shifted and you want to know why, or when you feel good and want a baseline to compare against later. Many women start in perimenopause; many men start when energy or drive changes. Either way, the first step is a panel, not a prescription.
What's the difference between a hormone panel and hormone therapy?
A hormone panel is the blood test that shows where your levels are; it's the first step and it sits under Diagnostics. Hormone therapy is treatment, prescribed only when the panel and how you feel point the same way. Plenty of patients have a panel and never start therapy.
Do you treat thyroid?
No. The thyroid is a gland, and the hormones it makes affect energy, weight and mood, so an underactive thyroid can feel a lot like a hormone shift. We check thyroid function on our women's panel, and if your results point there, we'll help you find the right specialist.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what your clinician recommends: the labs, the medication and its form, and how often you're seen. You'll see the full cost in writing before you start. Your consultation fee is credited to your personalized plan.
