Dysport® in Miami
Soften the frown. Stay entirely yourself.
Dysport is an FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A injectable used to temporarily relax the muscles that cause frown lines between the brows, with a slightly faster onset and softer spread than some alternatives. At Naiva it is chosen when a clinician wants a smooth, even relaxation across a broader area.
10–20 minutes.
Initial softening may begin within 2–3 days.
Full effect at about two weeks.
Typically 3–4 months.
Where you are

The lines between your brows can begin to linger even when your face is at rest, creating an expression that looks more tense or tired than you feel.
At Naiva, Dysport is used to soften these frown lines while preserving the natural movement and character of your face.
Where you want to be
Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles, helping smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Its formulation allows for a soft, even distribution, making it especially well suited to the area between the brows, where a seamless result is desired.
Every treatment is customized to your anatomy, movement and aesthetic goals. The intention is never to erase expression. It is to create a smoother, more refreshed appearance that still feels entirely like you.
What to expect
Your clinician will assess how your face moves, thoughtfully map your treatment and place a series of precise injections using a fine needle. The appointment is quick, with little to no downtime. Stay upright for four hours afterward, avoid pressing or massaging the area, and leave exercise and heat for the next day.

Who it tends to suit
- Adults bothered by deep frown lines between the brows
- People with a broad forehead or a wide pattern of fine lines who want smooth, even softening
- Patients who have an event or deadline in the near term and value a faster onset
- Those who have previously used a different neurotoxin and want to compare response under clinical guidance
- Anyone seeking a subtle result that leaves the face fully mobile
- Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, or with a known allergy to cow's milk protein; discussed at your assessment
Who performs it
Because Dysport's diffusion behaves differently from other neurotoxins, placement and dosing are calculated specifically for it rather than converted from another product's numbers. Your response is documented at two weeks and used to refine every visit that follows.
Your clinician will also be candid about limits. Neurotoxins address lines caused by muscle movement. Lines that come from thinning skin or lost volume respond better to other tools, and those conversations happen before treatment, not after.

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →Does Dysport hurt?
Expect a quick pinch at each point, similar to a small vaccination but far shorter. The needle is very fine and the total number of injections between the brows is usually small. Topical numbing or a cold compress is available for anyone who prefers it.
How long does Dysport last?
For most patients, three to four months. The effect fades gradually as nerve signaling returns, rather than stopping suddenly. Individual duration varies with muscle strength, dose and metabolism, which is why we record your results and time your next visit accordingly.
What's the difference between Botox® and Dysport?
Both are botulinum toxin type A and both are FDA-approved for frown lines. Dysport tends to begin working a day or two sooner and spreads slightly more from each injection point, which suits broad areas and produces a smooth, even result. Botox is more contained, which can help around precise sites. Their units are not one-to-one, so a clinician doses each on its own scale. Your anatomy and treatment history decide which is used.
How much does Dysport cost?
Cost depends on the units your treatment requires, which depends on the areas treated and how strongly your muscles contract. Because Dysport uses a different unit scale than other neurotoxins, comparing raw unit counts between products is misleading. Pricing is set at your assessment, and your clinician explains the plan before treatment begins.
How soon will I see results?
Many patients notice the first change within two to three days, with the full effect settled by about fourteen days. If you have a specific date in mind, book roughly two weeks ahead of it.
Can Dysport treat crow's feet or the forehead?
Its FDA approval is for glabellar frown lines. Clinicians commonly use it in other expression areas as an off-label decision made case by case, and your provider will explain whether that applies to you and why.
Will my face still move?
Yes. The aim is to reduce the force of the frown, not to eliminate movement. Dosing to your own muscle pattern keeps your brows lifting and your eyes creasing when you smile; it simply stops the lines from staying behind.
