CoolSculpting® in Miami
A stubborn pocket of fat, reduced without surgery.
CoolSculpting uses controlled cooling to reduce a specific pocket of fat, such as on the abdomen, flanks, thighs or under the chin, and the body clears the treated fat cells over 1–3 months. It is non-surgical with no downtime, and it suits patients near a stable weight.
35–60 minutes per applicator.
No downtime.
Over 1–3 months.
Lasting with a stable weight.
Where you are

There is one area that does not change with the rest of you: the lower abdomen, the flanks, the thighs or the fullness under the chin. Diet and training do not seem to reach it, and you may have decided that liposuction, with its incisions, anesthesia and recovery, is not for you.
Where you want to be
CoolSculpting cools a defined pocket of fat to a controlled temperature through an applicator placed on the skin. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the tissue around them, so the treated cells break down and the body clears them through its normal processes over the following one to three months.
Naiva runs the original CoolSculpting system. The change is a flatter or slimmer contour in the treated area, gradual rather than immediate, and results vary by individual.
What to expect
Your assessment maps the area, takes baseline photographs and decides which applicator fits. Many patients read or work during treatment and return to normal activity the same day.
35–60 minutes per applicator. Intense cold for the first few minutes, then numbness, with a return to normal activity the same day.
No downtime. Redness, tenderness, numbness or mild bruising in the treated area are common and settle over days to a few weeks.
Over 1–3 months. The body clears the treated fat cells gradually, and many areas are planned for 1–2 sessions.
Lasting with a stable weight. Treated fat cells are cleared by the body, but the cells that remain can enlarge with weight gain.
Who it tends to suit
- At or near a stable weight, with a defined pocket of fat that does not respond to diet and training
- Abdomen, flanks, inner or outer thighs, or fullness under the chin
- Patients who prefer to avoid surgery, anesthesia and recovery time
- Those comfortable with a gradual change over one to three months
- Not suited to generalized weight loss, significant loose skin, or certain cold-sensitivity conditions, which are screened for at your assessment
Who performs it
At your assessment, your clinician checks that the area is fat CoolSculpting can treat, looks at the skin over it, and reviews your health history and goals. Where loose skin or muscle tone is part of the picture, Venus Nova may be planned alongside it.

Every treatment is performed by a licensed provider under Medical Director oversight, with clear protocols.

Questions patients ask
Answers from the clinical team, in the order they tend to be asked. Anything specific to you is confirmed at consultation.
Ask your own question →Does CoolSculpting hurt?
The first few minutes feel intensely cold and can be uncomfortable, then the area numbs. When the applicator comes off, the area is massaged briefly, which some patients find tender. No anesthesia is needed.
How many sessions will I need?
Many areas are planned for 1–2 sessions, depending on the size of the pocket and your goals. Your clinician reviews the result after one to three months, once the body has cleared the treated cells, before deciding on a second session.
Is CoolSculpting a way to lose weight?
No. It reduces fat in a specific area and does not meaningfully change your weight. Where weight itself is the goal, a medical weight plan under our wellness practice is the place to start.
Does the fat come back?
Treated fat cells are cleared by the body, so the result in that area is lasting while your weight is stable. The fat cells that remain can still enlarge with weight gain, in the treated area and elsewhere.
Are there side effects?
Redness, swelling, tenderness, numbness and bruising in the treated area are common and settle over days to weeks. A rare side effect is a gradual enlargement of the treated fat, called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia; your clinician goes through this and your health history at the assessment.
How much does CoolSculpting cost?
Cost depends on the areas and the number of applicators and sessions your plan needs. Pricing is set at your assessment.
